GALVANIC ZINC PLATING

We, "GALVANOPRAKTIK - PETROV SADRUZHIE" SD galvanize almost all types of steel, cast iron and sintered metals.

Depending on the characteristics of the details we use supports for flight bars or barrels.

For additional increase of corrosion protection, we also perform passivation, which creates an excellent basis for further processing, such as painting, varnishing, polymer sealing, etc.

Layer structure

Exactly the same stiffness of the layers, allowing seamless bending or deformation of the parts.

Adhesion (Layer bonding).

Excellent adhesion, comparable to hot-dip galvanizing. Much better than organic steel varnishing.

Ductility / Elasticity

Cyanide (acid) galvanizing has very good elasticity (better elasticity than 2K powder and oil coating) and prevents tearing of the layer.

Layer hardness

Approax. 200 HV (Vickers)

Heat resistance

The passivation efficiency decreases with constant exposure to temperatures above 120 ° C or a single load above 180 ° C. Galvanizing together with nickel plating offers slightly better heat resistance

Coating of cavities / openings

Internal walls / threads and pipe parts cannot be optimally protected. Internal galvanizing is possible in certain cases and in suitable details with an auxiliary Anode.

Extreme corrosion load

Galvanizing is not suitable for parts in acidic or strongly alkaline environments.

Varnishing / Painting

After yellow or blue passivation, the details can be perfectly painted or varnished in another color.

BLUE PASSIVATION-

Passivation with trivalent Chromium, layer thickness 1 µm

Corrosion protection test according to EN 9227 (DIN 50021), salt spray spraying 48 - 96 h.

Corrosion white rust when used openly after 2 to 3 years.

Corrosion red rust with a coating of 20 µm Zinc with an intact layer of passivation after 10 years.

YELLOW PASSIVATION-

Passivation with trivalent Chrome, layer thickness 1 µm

Corrosion protection test according to EN 9227 (DIN 50021), salt spray spraying 200 - 300 h.

Corrosion white rust when used openly after 3 to 8 years.

Corrosion of the metal base with a coating of 20 µm Zinc with an intact layer of passivation after 10 years.
